Nine Updated Reviews in 2013 So Far
We are two months into 2013 and a few new reviews have been posted onto the site so far this year. But a number of other "re-reviews" have been posted as well, as we returned to nine restaurants since the beginning of the year. Included are a burger and beer place in Somerville, a Greek cafeteria-style spot in Woburn, a Mediterranean eatery in Roslindale, and a local watering hole in Boston's North End. Links to all of the updated reviews can be found below:
Angela's Coal Fired Pizza, Saugus
City Girl Cafe, Cambridge
Dogwood Cafe, Jamaica Plain, MA
Foley's Backstreet Grille, Stoughton
Monte's Restaurant, Lynn
The Restaurant, Woburn
Sophia's Grotto, Roslindale
Victoria's, Diner, Boston
Waterfront Cafe, Boston (North End)
More updated (and new) restaurant reviews will be on the way over the coming weeks and months, so keep checking back!

Time to Update Our Irish Pubs List
St. Patrick's Day is still nearly a month away, but it will be here before you know it. And for those of you who are thinking that you might just be heading to an Irish pub or two that evening, we have a list of pubs in the Boston area within the site, which can be found at the following link:
http://www.hiddenboston.com/irish-pub-list.html
This list has been up for awhile, but it was recently updated to reflect several openings and closings (including Eugene O'Neill's in Jamaica Plain among the openings and Four Green Fields in downtown Boston among the closings), but more updates are probably needed. If you know of any Irish pubs that should be added to the list--or taken off the list because they have closed--please post a comment here or go to the link above, which has links to both Facebook and Twitter, where you can also let us know.
Thanks for any suggestions that you give us!

Twelve Romantic Restaurants in the Greater Boston Area and Beyond
For those of you who are looking for romantic restaurants to go to, be it for Valentine's Day, a date night, or just a place for quiet conversation and nice atmosphere, there are definitely a lot of them in the Greater Boston area and elsewhere in New England, ranging from casual and inexpensive places with nice atmosphere to world-class bucket-list spots. Our latest photo slideshow looks at a number of eateries that lean a bit toward the former category (none are particularly dressy places and none are outrageously expensive) that may be good options for you and your loved one. Most of these are lesser-known dining spots, with some being out in the country, making for a nice little road trip--though none are all that far from Boston.
