Galleria Umberto in the North End for an arancino and a slice, followed by a Belgian waffle with Biscoff spread at Saus. I feel as though Saus flies a bit under the radar of local chowhounds. They keep expanding their menu, and everything I've had there is excellent.
After all that, we had dinner at Bombay Cafe on Mass. Ave. before going to the BSO Saturday night. The place is decidedly shabby and the food presentation's not going to get them any photo spreads, but the food was really solid - not knock-your-socks-off, but tasty and it really hit the spot.
