Who do you think has the best falafel in the Boston area? How is it served--in a sandwich, or as a falafel plate or perhaps as part of a combo plate? Is it green falafel (which is typically mixed with parsley, cilantro, and other herbs) or more of a golden yellow falafel? [Go here to post a reply.]

Falafel King on Winter St, close to the Park St. T stop. In addition to being delicious and cheap, they give you a piece of falafel to eat in line!

Many good ones around town, but a few favorite falafels:
Falafel King, Downtown Crossing
Jerusalem Pita, Coolidge Corner
Rami's, Coolidge Corner
Sami's (the food truck), Longwood Medical District
R.I.P. Allston's Reef Cafe, which did my very favorite falafel, a mix of chickpea and fava.

It's standard lunch fare - at least once a week!

Proper falafel - meaning LEBANESE falafel, not Israeli falafel. I'd go with Shawarma King.
