I finally got to this place, and it was mostly worth the wait. Great atmosphere, as it is an old-school roadside snack shack situated along the banks of a river. There are some outdoor picnic tables as well as more tables in the two indoor patio areas. Service was friendly and our order came out fairly quickly. The grilled burger was satisfactory while the grilled hot dog was rather basic but tasty enough. The fries were pretty good, but the onion rings were a bit on the bland side and the batter had a lot of cornmeal in it, which I didn't really like. Not surprisingly, prices were very reasonable. The place is closed for the season now, but if I get back to Woodstock in the spring or summer, I'll definitely consider returning here again.
