It's my favorite place to dine. Service and food it excellent. Drinks are also very good. The grounds are always in good shape and inviting. Love the place. Prices are fair.

*****Kevin Walsh from Hudson, NH, says:
Have been going here for years with family and friends, 4-course dinners for under $30; great food well prepared and presented, attentive service and sitting at a table in front of the huge fireplace in the fall and winter just adds to the dining experience.

*****Nancy from Amherst, NH, says:
Welcoming atmosphere-high quality food-excellent service served with a smile-five course meal and most are under $30 so I don't think expensive is the right word for the food here. We always invite friends and family to join us here and always celebrate special times here. But also a wonderful place for an evening out.

*****RL from Milford, NH, says:
Second time certainly not the charm - soup was watered down chicken/vegetable - baked stuffed clams just clam flavored breading in a clam shell, maple salmon on the dry side and the veal parm overcooked cardboard..salads a bit "rusty", however the deserts were excellent. Could be the chef wasn't up to speed or those dishes were not their best. Might go back for another dinner.

*****GS from Milton says:
Food, atmosphere, and service were nothing short of top notch, will return many times. It is sad this site says expensive, because an appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert all for under 25 bucks is not expensive these days. I say, "what a deal!"

My wife and I dine in boston a few times a year, and we both agree that the mile away is as good as it gets. The food and service and atmosphere is excellent.

*****gg from Milford, NH, says:
Never been here but as a neighbor they're not at all considerate. I get to listen to their music til who knows when; give it a rest, I'm a half mile away and my windows shake. Jerks.

*****GRF from Merrimack, NH, says:
Started with the soup - served on the cold side - salad was fine, prime rib was asked to be cooked medium well, was medium, my daughter's boyfriend asked for his to be cooked medium, was served raw, had to be sent back came back - overcooked. All the baked potatoes had to be sent back to be heated up. Very disappointed. Will not be going back to the Mile Away anytime soon, and certainly let my friends know.

*****RW from Manchester, NH, says:
I wouldn't say the Mile Away was expensive. Most meals come with 5 courses and are priced under $26.00. The food is good as is the atmosphere and service.
