How Is Zaika in Marblehead?

(From Our Questions and Answers Feature)

I was in Marblehead a couple of months ago, and while I was wandering through the streets of Old Town, someone left a flyer for a restaurant on my car. The flyer was for an Indian restaurant on Pleasant Street called Zaika. The menu has all the familiar Indian dishes, including several that I like (aloo palak, murg tikka masala, meat samosas, aloo tikki). Has anyone tried Zaika? How does it compare to other Indian restaurants in the area? [Go here to post a reply.]

I live in Marblehead and have had dinner there several times. Avoid the buffet. A la carte dinner can be hit or miss, depending I guess on who is in the kitchen. Safer bet is Taste of India in Salem, which is consistently good.

Just read an article on Wicked Local (supplied via Twitter by North Shore Dish) about Zaika. Looks like it may be closed for good.
