Anything to Eat Near Wellesley/Needham Area?
(From Our Questions and Answers Feature)
Besides the occasional meal at the Cottage or Linden Street Deli, there seems to be a limited number of food options in the Wellesley/Needham area. I go to school in Wellesley and am always looking for a great meal off campus - breakfast, lunch, and dinner - and can never seem to find anything worth driving to. I know Nicks, Cafe Fresh, NYAJoe's, etc, but any other local places around the area (Needham, Wellesley, Newton, Brighton, etc) would be great. [Go here to post a reply.]

Comellas in Needham is new, it's on the corner near the Mobil station. I'm also a big fan of the sushi restaurant in Needham.

Sweet Basil in Needham is a must, plus stop over at Abbotts custard next door. Rumor has it that a new cupcake place is opening up around there too. Petit Robert is in Needham as well. As for Wellesley, try Alta Strada and Blue Ginger-they are opening up a noodle bar any day now.

Stone Hearth Pizza in Needham Center is very good - gourmet pizza, good salads, custard.
