Tea Houses in Boston?

(From Our Questions and Answers Feature)

I often find myself at Tealuxe in Providence when I'm in the area, but never seem to end up at any tea houses when I'm in Boston. I know there are at least a couple of Tealuxe branches in the Boston area, but are there any really nice tea houses in or near Boston that I should be trying? [Go here to post a reply.]

Well, Tealuxe started in Harvard Square, and there's a bigger one on Newbury with a food menu.
Diesel in Davis Sq in Somerville is great for this, too. Haven't tried their teas, but their coffee/cafe drinks are all right and I love their sandwiches.

The Boston Park Plaza Hotel and Towers has one of only a few Tea Sommeliers in the world, Cynthia Gold. Her Afternoon Tea is technically not a tea house but she does custom blend all of her own teas and infuses her tea into cocktails and into the menu at Swan's Cafe.
