Favorite Roadside Food Joints?

(From Our Questions and Answers Feature)

What is your favorite roadside food joint in New England? Are there any that really stand out? What is your favorite item there? Some of my favorites include Al's Hot Dog Stand in Naugatuck, CT, Blackie's in Cheshire, CT, the Ice House in Rye, NH, and Bubbling Brook in Westwood, MA. [Go here to post a reply.]

George's Surf and Turf in Mendon, MA. They have the best fish 'n chips and onion rings. They still have the old fashioned car hop service where they hook the tray onto your car door. Place is always packed.
