Restaurants for New Year's Eve in Boston?

I'm not sure we will even be in Boston this year for New Year's Eve (we might be in Portsmouth, Newport, or Providence), but just in case we stay in the Boston area, what are people's favorite choices for a New Year's Eve dinner in or around Boston? Somewhere between casual and formal would be best (smart casual, business casual, whatever it's called now), and a place that has both great atmosphere and great food without being too snobbish.
