Has anyone eaten at Emmets near the State House? I stumbled upon the place recently, but only for a drink. Sidebar: They had my favorite beer on draft, Radeberger, which I don't see everywhere. Anyone know where else I could get one on draft? [Go here to post a reply.]

Emmets is great! It used to be my regular haunt. It's really laid back. The staff is easy going, but good at their jobs. It's just a great bar to hang out in.

Emmet's has decent bar food (burgers, quesadillas)and it's reasonably priced. I like the atmosphere there, very European and laid back.

Very much mediocre food.. 4/10... Nothing special at all. The drinks are good though! (Side note, a friend of mine who lived across the street really liked the clam chowder.. so maybe its good?? I can only speak for my experiences though.)

Thanks to all who answered. I stopped in for a bite to eat at Emmets on Saturday evening. Food was decent for what it was, pub grub, but I did think some of salads and entrees were priced high. I found the staff to be great and on top of their game.
Zeus, on a side note, I also made it to Bad Abbots, and in talking with the bartender, she claims the place has been sold, and the new owner brought in Sapporo to replace Radeberger?!?!?! She also mentioned that they will be turning it into a Country & Western Bar. I grabbed a Carlsberg instead, not the same, but got me through the soccer game.
