READERS' REVIEWS OF THE WINDWARD GRILLE:
*****Carl from Lexington, MA, says:
Clean, neat, widely varied menu, fish was fresh, well prepared, service quick and nicely done, architecturally parts of the structure of the building dates to the seventeenth century but is in good condition. Seems to be prepared for the casual couple or a large party. Good food and good service.

Just go, you won't be sorry in the least.
Sit at the bar if you want, Tom will take great care of you. Ask him about making you a Sidecar, and talk to him about music, he knows what's what.

I am fond of the Windward and a not infrequent customer, therefore, I was quite surprised by their inability to accommodate a simple request for a very minor menu deviation.

We go to the Windward at least once a week; the people are friendly and the food is great. Try the Cape Ann Reuben at lunch; I have never had a sandwich like it. The prime rib is great too, always tender.

Facilities were clean. Service was excellent. Order was taken in a timely manner and all requests were met. Food was served relatively soon after order was placed. The portions were quite adequate and very flavorful. Our server was efficient without being bothersome. It was a pleasant evening with good food and I plan to return in the future.
