I read about The Night Kitchen in an issue of YANKEE magazine and took my mother and sister there when I came home for a visit. We all loved it and I will go back again. I left a message to get a reservation and was pleasantly surprised when they called me back!

Best restaurant in the Pioneer Valley.

BTN from Belchertown, MA, says:
We had a really bad experience here; the waitstaff was catatonic, my duck tasted like last week, and the wine was clearly OLD! The guy at the bar seemed not to care about anything but talking to his friends. Go to Chez Albert instead, have some real food served by nice people.

CW from Leverett, MA, says:
Beautifully prepared fresh bistro-style food, romantic location. Only downsides: hard to get a reservation, and don't repeat don't go there if it's hot outside - no AC!

JF from Montague, MA, says:
The Night Kitchen is like no place else in the area - overlooking the Sawmill River and waterfall, beautiful deck for outdoor seating, and the food is fantastic...generous portions of lovingly prepared, seasonal, mostly locally grown and produced products. The waitstaff are professional and friendly, and they make everyone feel at home. It's worth driving for!

ANF from Narberth, PA, says:
The Night Kitchen is the perfect combination of great food and marvelous ambience. It is certainly not expensive; in fact, the prices are a bargain. Chef/owner Max Brody is a genius when it comes to innovation and preparation.

It's the real deal: great food, ambience and service. The menu changes with the seasons, using local ingredients. The portions are generous for the price. It's a winner!

LB from Waltham, MA, says:
Best food I've had in years - in the most beautiful (and romantic) setting. We ate on the deck perched over a river. The staff is super. I give it 4 stars.

cadorette from Wendell, MA says:
I found the Night Kitchen to be a delightful experience. We had the duck and beef ribs and both entrees were absolutely delicious and the portions were very generous. The menu was innovative-the setting of course, incomparable. Definitely worth a visit!
