This cozy cafe is just a short block off the main street and is easy to miss but worth looking for. We stopped in on a drizzly afternoon so couldn't take advantage of the deck overlooking the river but the atmosphere inside was quite pleasant - interesting decor with lots to look at. We happened to sit next to a menu that the current owner created when he was a child and drempt of having a restaurant. It's pretty cute. Good coffee and a nice menu of sandwiches, soups, and desserts with an efficient, friendly staff. If we lived in this town, we'd be regulars here.

The cobalt blue sky and the sounds of rushing water from the Ammonoosuc River set the stage for "lunch on the deck" - this is casual outdoor dining at its finest. If you have not yet discovered Miller's Cafe & Bakery (Formerly known as Millers Fare) - you are in for a treat. Every day, every item is made from scratch. From soups, to wonderful salads, hearty sandwiches and delicious homemade pastries - David Eyler and the fine staff at Miller's Cafe & Bakery does it right.
We could not have picked a more perfect weather day for our visit, so we headed outside to the deck with our soft drinks in hand. Our lunch arrived - some of the most delectable goodies on the planet! The pasta pesto salad was fresh and delicious. It was a mixture of pasta, grilled chicken breast, feta cheese balls, fresh grape tomatoes, onions, and dressing. Wonderful! The sandwiches here are equally superb. All are made fresh on premises. One of the special desserts here is a flourless chocolate cake that will bring a smile any chocolate aficionado.
Another nice thing about visiting Miller's Cafe is the free wireless internet access that is available. Bring your laptop in and catch up on your email while you enjoy a leisurely lunch.
Thanks, David Eyler for bringing lunchtime magic to Littleton!

My husband and I went to New Hampshire in May 2008 to hike a few White Mountain trails. Our hostess at the Bishop Farm B&B in Lisbon recommended Miller's Cafe and Bakery to us as the best lunch spot around. Everything from the sandwiches, to the salads, to the soups, to the drinks, to the fabulous desserts was all delicious. We had to return the very next day to try more! The gifted chef creates so many unique offerings that should not be missed. And the employees were all incredibly friendly and eager to please. We enjoyed eating on the deck overlooking the river, and there's also wi-fi available. Easy to find in downtown Littleton at the river, between the mill and the covered bridge. Just a short hop off the highway and well worth it!
