I was born and raised in Lawrence. Like the other reviewer, I used to go to its predecessor Riley's (in Lawrence) with the old wagon wheels out front...then it declined when Harrison's opened up. Once I had my first bite of Harrison's - WOW - those sandwiches are great! I love everything about them...the beef, the onion rolls, and the way they call out the sandwiches "Beef, C.O.W." Whenever I head back to MA on business I make it a point to hit Harrison's.

I live in Maine, but every time I am in a fifty-mile radius of North Andover, I stop at Harrison's. I have been going there since I was born, and my dad has been going there, or to its predecessor, Riley's, since he could drive. It is the best sandwich I have ever had. Melting roast beef, abundant tangy sauce, toasted bun...it really can't get any better. The people behind the counter are the same people I remember from my childhood...I love Harrison's and am determined to share it with the world.
