My wife and I really enjoyed the old Cuna Mara and went there for food, drink and entertainment every chance we had since the restaurant first opened. We have looked forward to the opening of Kathleen's Cottage downtown, and I had a chance to see it last week.
I love it! The atmosphere is just like a pub in Ireland, the food is great, and I have never seen so many great beers on tap (11, I believe). I will take all of my summer guests there.

*****Lorry from Bristol, NH, says:
New place is quite nice. Ordered the beef stew. Menu said it had root vegetables. The only root vegetable in it was carrots. It had summer squash and zucchini and very little meat. The gravy had no flavor and mashed potatoes they put on top had no flavor. Would not order again. Husband had fish and chips and said it was good. I find that it is pricey for the quality. Not sure if I would go back.

Kathleen and staff catered a party for my mother's 70th birthday. The food was wonderful and the staff was more then helpful, kind and respectful. They did a fantastic job and would use them for another event in a mintue!!

*****Random Client from Bristol, NH, says:
Love the new digs! This feels more like an Irish pub than the previous place. However, I found it cold and uncomfortable on cold winter nights. Even the wait staff was wearing sweaters. The service can be quite slow... might be due to staffing levels?
Food has improved After Ray left, the replacement chef was not doing the place proper justice. With the new digs comes a new chef and the quality of the food has improved greatly. I will go back, but I will dress warmer and go on a night when I am in no hurry.

*****Don from Stoughton, MA, says:
In the Irish tradition it is a place that is warm, cozy and friendly. It is always interesting, with a vast array of music, from local Irish talent to greats like Paddy Keenan. Great food and the largest selection of Irish whiskey in the state of NH will keep you coming back. My favorite is the traditional Irish breakfast; it always brings back memories of my travels to Ireland and the UK. Try it you will like it. Caed Mile Failte.

Celebrated my birthday here. The food and the service were fantastic. Portions are quite large (bring a friend to share the Cottage Cake for dessert). The music had us tapping our toes and smiling. Will certainly return soon.

Amazing restaurant! My family has some property that we camp on right near the restaurant and we LOVE to head down together and enjoy amazing food! The sample platter has awesome whiskey battered chicken tenders and onion rings. They often have Irish music, amazing atmosphere!

*****pm from Lebanon, NH, says:
Sure miss Ray. Ordered Reubens on flat bread. Bread was very hard. Not the best choice for a sandwich. It was also the most expensive sandwich on the menu. Should have asked. Not worth $9.99. Hadn't been for a few years. Hope it was just a fluke! Might give it another try. Very nice and accommodating wait person.

Great place to sit with friends and have a pint. The whiskey dipping sauce is out of this world. Burgers are fantastic and the Irish stew plentiful, authentic and flavorful. All this and great music! Looking forward to our next visit.

Please bring back the tiki room as I miss it greatly. I look forward to the grand re-opening with baited breath. This place is a shrine and should be given historic status. Run don't walk to the tiki room.
