I try to get there whenever I can for Johnny Cakes. One of the last places around still making them.

After traveling 1 1/2 hrs. for business, we were told to try your restaurant for lunch. We were not disappointed one bit. What a great place to eat. Wonderful homestyle food and priced VERY reasonably. Service was great too! Would make the trip again, just to eat at Commons Lunch!

This place is a throw back to the days when quality at an excellent price could be found. My wife and I go there as much as possible as I've never had a bad meal. Wait staff is courteous and very efficient. One of the best in Bristol County, Rhode Island. I would include Bristol County in Massachusetts if it was located there as well. It is in fact right on the RI and MA lines.

I've known the Commons lunch since I grew up in Little Compton. When I visit next week, that's the first place I want to eat. So much good food, so little time.

FOOD IS GREAT. BLT is addictive. Nice waitresses and cooks. I go there almost every week at least once, sometimes even 6. I can never stop coming back to this welcoming restaurant. Even Candy, one of the waitresses, knows my order by heart BLT, on white bread toasted, light on the mayo, extra tomato, crispy fries, good pickle, made with love, by Jim (one of the cooks). Nicest workers and customers you can find in Rhode Island.

This is a great little restaurant, something there for everyone. Food is always fresh, wait-staff is fast and friendly. Prices are very reasonable, now they even offer beer and wine. With its welcoming atmosphere, it's surely a better alternative than the big out-of-town chain restaurants. Always pleasing.

Someday I will have lunch and dinner at Commons Lunch. But for now there is nothing like a breakfast from this quaint little restaurant.
Oh yes, did I say it was fantastic, and also worth the trip! IT IS!

Located in a quaint village, pleasant clean family style restaurant, eat in or out on patio, has handicap access to both areas. Menu: good variety and portions, reasonably priced. The French pie was excellent. Seafood and salads delicious.
That's why we have returned there bringing other family members to experience. Yes, we plan on returning to this restaurant whenever we are within that area.
I think Boston's Hidden Restaurants needs to expand their travels to include this one on their list. We would be happy to attend.
