Guapo's
4515 Wisconsin Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20016

A couple of weeks ago I was in Washington DC on business and I had a really great Tex-Mex meal at a place called Guapo's. The free chips and salsa to begin with were great, as were the margaritas. Then we had nachos - yumm!!. Finally we had enchiladas and burritos for main courses that were very good. Nice people too and right on the Metro. Good prices and family friendly. Lots of fun.

Taj Mahal Restaurant

The Taj Mahal Restaurant, which is located just outside of Dupont Circle, is one of Washington's oldest Indian restaurants. They have a tremendous lunch buffet that is enjoyed by college students, yuppies, politicians, and diplomats alike. The lamb curry is incredible, and the chicken tikka masala is one of the best I've had.
