This is the real Brooklyn Italian Restaurant. It is even better than what you see in the movies. Their chocolate tartuffo is a killer dessert.

I didn't expect such a great restaurant in a tourist area, but Alfredo was a pleasant surprise. Their signature dish is Fettucine Alfredo, best I have ever had! Tableside preparation. I can't wait to go back and try some of their interesting salads and pasta dishes. www.alfredos.com

Any time I go to NYC, I have to stop in for an after theater dinner and drinks at Chez Jesephine, a sexy French bistro that feels like you have entered into a private club that nobody knows about. The food is French influenced and wonderful. First class bar with lots of theater people coming and going and locals. I never see tourists there. www.chezjosephine.com
