Twelve Little-Known Spots for Takeout in the Boston Area and Beyond

Over the years, we have posted lists of various restaurants (and food items) and each list seems to have brushed upon takeout items here and there. Well, now it's time for a list that looks exclusively at lesser-known spots for takeout, with this one including places for pizza, sandwiches, deli food, dumplings, and more--and the last two places (both of which are in scenic seaside locations) are fish markets that offer seafood to go. Most of the spots mentioned here are in or near Boston, though the last one is a bit further away, but well worth the ride for both the items offered and the views.
