Time to Get Ready for Outdoor Dining
You'd never know it today, but spring actually begins tomorrow, and soon the weather will turn nice (hopefully) and for those who love to dine out, restaurants in the Boston area and elsewhere will be setting up their outdoor dining areas once again. Last year, a couple of outdoor dining-related posts went up on the site, including a blog entry on eateries featured on Boston's Hidden Restaurants that have al fresco dining and a slideshow that also showed places where people can sit outside and enjoy a meal. These two links can be found below, though keep in mind that two restaurants shown are no longer in business--Zaleks in Wakefield and The Studio in Gloucester (though there have been rumblings that The Studio could reopen at some point).

In addition, a few other spots that we reviewed over the past year also have outdoor dining, including the following three:
Ashmont Grill, Dorchester
Johnson's Drive-In, Groton
KO Pies at the Shipyard, East Boston
Remember, few--if any--of these restaurants will be having their outdoor dining areas ready for awhile, though if the weather ever starts to get better, you may want to check with some of them, as you never know...
