Reminder About the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook Group Page

Several months after ramping up the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, it continues to grow, and now has more activity for the most part than the original Facebook fan page. Unlike the fan page, the group page is very interactive, with everyone being able to post questions, pictures, reviews, and more--and the discussions are often more lengthy than those on the fan page. A few topics over the past several weeks include the following:

Favorite breakfast sandwich protein: bacon or sausage?

towns in Massachusetts that don't have any sit-down restaurants?

Burrito or Quesadilla?

loudest restaurants and bars in the Boston area?

favorite brands of pasta widely available in the Boston area?

There are many more topics within the page, both from group members and from Boston's Hidden Restaurants; if you think you would like to be a part of the group and join in on the discussions, please go to this link:

Hope to see you there!

Twelve More Comfort Food Items from Boston-Area Restaurants

photo of a burger from Cabot's, Newton, MALast year, a slideshow on comfort food dishes in the Boston area was posted onto the Boston's Hidden Restaurants site, and it included everything from chili to macaroni and cheese to Buffalo chicken dip and much more. Well, now a "Part 2" of the comfort food slideshow is out, and it includes a number of similarly good cold-weather items for the fall and winter months that lie ahead. As is the case with Part 1 of the slideshow, the items shown here are generally from lesser-known restaurants in and around Boston.

The link below will take you to the slideshow.
