Farewell, Viewers' Favorite Restaurants, Hello, Readers' Restaurant Posts

For several years, the Boston's Hidden Restaurants site had a feature called Viewers' Favorite Restaurants, which was a place where you could tell us about some dining spots that you particularly like. Now we have put that feature to rest, focusing more on the weekly feature called Readers' Restaurants Posts, where you can tell us what eating and drinking spots you have been to each week. The two sections tended to overlap, so we decided to condense them into one place, with this newer one allowing you to tell us about the good as well as the bad when it comes to your dining out experiences.

Looking forward to reading your posts over the coming weeks and months!

Two More Pinterest Boards: Seafood, Desserts

Over the past couple of months, three new Pinterest boards on macaroni and cheese, burgers, and pizza and two new Pinterest boards on pasta dishes and sandwiches were added to the Boston's Hidden Restaurants Pinterest page. Well, the beefing up of the Pinterest page continues, with two more being added this week. The first board focuses on all things seafood, with everything from chowder to lobster rolls to fish sandwiches coming to the page, while the second one looks at all kinds of desserts. Links to these brand new boards can be found below:

Twelve More Starters and Sides from Restaurants in the Boston Area and Beyond

photo of wings from Pearl Street Station Restaurant, Malden, MALast winter, a slideshow on starters and sides from Boston-area restaurants was added to the site, and now, "Part 2" has been posted. As was the case with the first slideshow, a variety of items are included here, such as soup, fries, meatballs, and stuffed grape leaves, along with slightly less common items such as lamb skewers. Most of the foods shown are from dining spots in the Greater Boston area, though the last one is further out (that one being from a restaurant in Southern Maine).

And now, on to the new slideshow. Please go to the link below to see Part 2 on starters and sides.
