Another New Google+ Community: New England Restaurants

Earlier this month, Boston's Hidden Restaurants created a new Google+ community called "Boston-Area Restaurants," which is a place where folks can talk about dining spots in and around Boston. And now, a similar community has been set up, with this one focusing on eating and drinking spots elsewhere in the region. The community, which is called "New England Restaurants, is much like the Boston-area community, allowing folks to ask/answer questions about restaurants, post reviews, share food photos, and more.

The "New England Restaurants" community page is open to the public (as is the "Boston-Area Restaurants" page), so please go to the link below if you would like to join:

All three of these boards will focus mainly on dishes from restaurants in the Boston area and elsewhere in New England, with some recipe pages included as well (the emphasis will be on mac and cheese, burgers, and pizza from local dining spots, however). New Google+ Community on Boston-Area Restaurants

Last May, Boston's Hidden Restaurants set up a new Google+ community called "All Things Food," which focuses on everything from recipes to food photos. Now a new community has been created, with this one being more for folks in the local area. The community, which is simply called "Boston-Area Restaurants" is a place where people can ask (and answer) questions about area dining spots, give reviews of restaurants, post food photos from local places, and simply talk about the Boston-area restaurant scene.

As is the case with "All Things Food," the "Boston-Area Restaurants" community page is open to the public, so if you would like to join, please go to the link below. Once your request to join is approved, you'll be able to start posting right away (don't forget to introduce yourself over there). Here is the link to the community:

Twelve Soups from Restaurants in the Boston Area and Beyond

photo of a fish sandwich from carrot parsnip ginger soup from Armsby Abbey, Worcester, MAIt has been an incredibly cold winter so far, with the past few days seeing some of the chilliest weather of the past few years. For those willing to brave the extreme cold to go out to eat, soup seems to be a popular food item these days, which brings us to our latest slideshow. Here you will be able to look at photos of twelve soups from restaurants in the Boston area and elsewhere in New England, many of which are from Asian dining spots, including Chinese, Japanese, Cambodian, and Vietnamese soups.

The link below will take you to the brand new slideshow. By the way, the next slideshow will focus on Valentine's Day, which is coming up before you know it, so stay tuned!
