A Few New Restaurants in Boston

A number of new restaurants have opened up in the Boston area over first few months of 2007 (and late 2006), with more on the way. Some of these dining spots are getting a lot of press, while others have basically just appeared with little or no fanfare. Below is a list of some of these restaurants that have either recently opened, or are about to open:

B. Good, Brookline:
healthy sandwich place coming to Harvard Street

Broadway Diner, Arlington:
diner in old Olive Branch location

CF Donovan's, Hyde Park:
new branch of original in Dorchester

Deep Ellum, Allston:
contemporary pub grub with good beer list

Geoffrey's, Roslindale:
beloved old Boston restaurant reappearing in Roslindale

Georgie D's, Stoneham:
new Italian restaurant on Main Street

La Verdad, Boston:
highly-anticipated Mexican restaurant near Fenway Park

Mifune, Arlington:
Chinese and Japanese restaurant in center of town

Mrs. Jones, Dorchester:
new soul food restaurant coming to Lower Mills

O Ya, Boston:
cozy Japanese restaurant in Leather District

Rocca, Boston:
upscale Italian restaurant on Harrison Avenue

I actually haven't been to any of the above restaurants yet, but am looking to try at least a few of them. Deep Ellum, Mrs. Jones (which isn't open yet), and Rocca are probably the three that pique my interest the most. Stay tuned!
