Any Top-Quality, Unpretentious Steakhouses in Boston?
(From Our Questions and Answers Feature)
So many steakhouses in the Boston area either seem totally clubby (old boys network type places) or are too self-important for my liking. Can anyone suggest a really good steakhouse (not Frank's or the Stockyard) that is also down to earth and unpretentious? [Go here to post a reply.]

Although it's not really in the Boston area, I enjoyed Bainbridge's in Chelmsford. The food is great (mmmm... prime rib...) and the 'old mill' setting gives a unique ambiance. It's appropriate for intimate dining as well as a great place for families.

Dandelion Green or Cafe Escadrille, both in Burlington. The Dandelion salad bar is awesome... The steaks are top shelf.
