I have tried pulled pork almost everywhere I go, and I have to say that the best I've had is in Bantam, Connecticut, at a place called Wood's Pit BBQ. SO GOOD. This is definitely 18-hour pork, it is melt in your mouth, pink from smoke, and incredibly flavorful!

The Metro Diner in Warren, RI. Get there early as they close at 1pm but this is the real deal. Actual char marks, then tender pork pulled. Delish!

Redbones is OK... Though I think K.C.'s Rib Shack in Manchester is certainly better.

B.T's Smokehouse in Sturbridge, MA. The quality of their pork is top notch and the best within a 100 mile radius. This coming from someone who has been to alot of great BBQ places in southern new England. I gladly take the 1 hour trek up to B.T's once a month.

I prefer Blue Ribbon BBQ to Redbones. Orinoco has a good shredded beef dish called Pabellon Criollo that is similar to pulled pork (though not traditional barbecue).
