Who Has the Best Coffee In or Near Boston?

(From Our Questions and Answers Feature)

What restaurant or coffee shop has the best coffee in the Boston area? We found coffee in Walpole that comes close (at Country Kitchen Donuts on Route 1A in Walpole) and Martin's Coffee Shop in Brookline is also quite good. [Go here to post a reply.]

Barisimo in Arlington (roughly across the street from the Capitol Theater) is some fine coffee. Good pour overs as well as espresso. A little out of the way for me but worth it.

Starbucks in Kendall (on the corner of Ames and Broadway) they have the BEST staff and they have the clover machine - and know how to use it.

Sorry, but I've never found a local replacement for the Coffee Connection. Howell's current offerings are simply too expensive.
