Anna's Taqueria is amazing! Had it for the first time in college over Thanksgiving break, when I couldn't make it home for Turkey dinner. It was the best Thanksgiving meal EVER!

Mambo Grill in Lowell is awesome. In Boston, I like Boloco.

OLECITO in Inman Square. The steak is always tender, never dry, never fatty. Toppings are always fresh. Never ever ever had less than an ideal burrito there. Free chips and salsa with burritos... salsa is made with roasted tomatoes.

Being from Texas, I'm really picky about burritos and all Mexican food. That being said, Boston is pretty lacking compared to home.
However, for price and quality, Anna's is really delicious and not at all expensive. Definitely THE best in Boston!

Best: Felipe's Taqueria in Harvard Square. Better than Anna's while still being authentic.
Runner Up: Anna's. Not as good as Felipe's, but still a sure bet. Really any of their locations.
Worst: Chipotle in Fresh Pond. Rice without taste and whatever it is, it doesn't taste like a burrito.

TACO LOCO by far is the BEST and MOST authentic. Also best bang for your buck! Large burrito is 6.50, they are MASSIVE and you get chips and salsa no extra charge with every order.

Had Anna's, had Olecita, Picante (very good), Boca Grande, but I'm going to vote for Jose's on Sherman St.

Taco Loco in east somerville. I am the only gringo walking in there. Anna's is a joke once you have gone to Taco Loco.

I'd second Jose's on Sherman street. They make a pretty good Mole sauce, too. I have to admit I have never, in their 15 years of operation, understood the appeal of Anna's.
