Great views of the Harbor with the seafood to go with it. Surprised to see any bad comments on this restaurant as we have been going there for years and have never had a bad meal.

*****Donald from Bangor, ME, says:
My family has been going to the Fishermans Friend for at least 30 years and never had a bad meal. Their new restaurant overlooking the water has an absolutely beautiful view, and is very clean. Service is fair, but the food is outstanding, better than most places I've been to in Maine. And we are fussy people too. I find it hard to believe the other negative comments. This is not a typical Maine tourist trap by any means. We actually make the 60 mile trip frequently just for the great seafood and relaxing atmosphere away from the other tourist meccas of Maine.
This is the real deal folks!
